A/W 2010/11

Dame Vivienne has long used top quality Scottish wool in her exuberant designwork. Harris Tweed and Lochcarron tartans have been a driving force in her collections, developing exclusive fabrics for her own label use. Exporting the uniqueness of British fashion has made Vivienne Westwood a well respected and powerful business woman with different labels targeted at specific markets at home and overseas. We salute her creativity, energy and innovation.

She spends hours reading history books, drawing and deconstructing historic costume for design and technique inspiration. A great way to spend Wool Week.
