Ge Feng

Because I'm Worthless

Million Dollar Baby

British artist Ge Feng loved art and photography as a child and learned to develop film under his bed. He has an interesting urban graffiti illustration style with political undertones that comment on western consumerism. Although these are not fashion illustrations per se, both of these images make you think about our disposable society and the way we consume fashion and beauty products in an effort to keep young and beautiful. As times change in China, Russia, Brazil and India it is interesting to watch these economies and appetites for branded fashion grow as ours plateau.
