Some of our students are facing challenges just now about how to progress to the next stage of their learning or careers. So here is a slice of cake to get you through whatever lies ahead. For those about to complete their qualifications and move into jobs or university degree courses I'd like to thank you for your hard work this year. We have seen some fantastic work and are looking forward to showing it to the EV coming at the end of May.

Students who recognise that being at college is a privilege, get the most out of it. The best thing about tutoring is watching the personal development of students who try their best, reflect on their output and understand that there will always be challenges, changes and then more challenges and changes.

Fashion is exciting and glamorous but hard work. It is not a 9 to 5 job. (10% inspiration and 90% perspiration?) Experimentation and taking risks is a huge part of coming up with something original. To all our students, please keep trying your best and meet those challenges, complete your units with a positive and happy frame of mind. Please support each other, encourage and motivate one another. Remember that your education is for you and once achieved, belongs to you forever.
