A Romantic Sleeve

One of the things that I have really appreciated about the IPC course at CSM has been how tutors have really emphasised that there are different ways to achieve results, some easier than others, and that when things don't work out, you just take a different approach...

A really WOW factor work session given by Patrick to demonstrate a creative approach to cutting involved a piece of calico, an elongated dart shape, some flat draping and voila a gathered sleeve with grown in rose.

the "rose" appears to grow out of the fabric

He makes it look oh so easy!
