Lotta Jansdotter

Lotta Jansdotter is a New York based, swedish designer with a simple, pared down aesthetic who designs fresh printed cotton fabrics on plain weave.

Please take a look at her website and follow her lead in your own design development using the simplest of techniques like drawing with markers and potato printing to make fabric simulations for project sourcebooks.

She is wildly popular in Japan due to her quirky, hand-made look and produces all sorts of stationary, paper products and candles that Japanese fashionistas like to give during the many gift seasons throughout the year.
