Fashion & Design Institute of Mauritius

I recently paid a visit to the Fashion & Design Institute of Mauritius.
I came to Mauritius in 2000 to work at what was then the IVTB School of Design, as a lecturer in Fashion & Textiles. It has been a few years since I have been back so it was really good to return to renew contacts and to see and hear about the changes and developments that have happened. The Institute offer HND courses in Fashion & Textiles, Art & Design, Media & Communication and Interior Design, with top up to degree level for some courses.

Mauritius still has a garment manufacturing economy and fashion students of the F&D Institute are fortunate to be offered a variety of design, pattern cutting and manufacturing opportunities in the industry on completion of their course.
