Fife College paper fashion school workshop
S5 and S6 pupils from nearby Auchmuty High School enjoyed a paper fashion development class today. 3 teams of teachers and their students enjoyed rolling, twisting and scrunching paper to create raw materials before embellishing body forms with design ideas.
From this. . . . .
To this . . . . in 40 minutes using group work, their imagination and hands only.
18 people created 6 design ideas that were photographed, displayed and evaluated.
The groups were lively and the energy was high. Great things were achieved using critical skills group techniques.
It was great to see school staff CPD taking place alongside student learning and all felt that a lot was achieved in a very short space of time.
Many thanks to Vanessa for organising the school side of things and to the pupils for throwing themselves in to the challenge with enthusiasm. Great fun.
