These costumes were created from cardboard by shoe designer Morven Mulgrew as part of a collaborative project with Katie Orton and other artists and designers called 'Strength through Joy'. The costumes were made for a sumo wrestling contest. This event was organized in London, however future events are planned for Scotland in Edinburgh and Glasgow. I feature them as a prompt that you can create strong shapes in your designs.
