Alessia Xoccato II

I am revisiting the portfolio of Alessia Xoccato, I love her simple but challenging, lines and her combinations of fabrics and the visual density and translucence of her clothes. I think they are great inspiration for the NC business portfolio's.

Alessia's work is about "the obsessive study of shapes and volumes, of the body with space, of movement and proportions. An experimental approach to the manufacturing of the item, in the selection of fabrics and their treatment, and the refined choice of colours."

Alessia Xoccato was trained at Domus Accademy, Milan. This is Alessia's Spring/Summer range 2011 using asymmetric layering of contrasting fabrics some translucent and some opaque.
