Marianne Maric II

Above: lamp dress.

Above are some stills from the film below of Marianne Maric's lamp dresses and shadow performances.

Marianne Maric I

Marrianne Maric's work straddles, art, fashion, styling, costume and performance. It is challenging in its explorations of feminine sexuality and exciting in its fun and possibility. Marrainne has been playing with light, the dresses constructed from lamp shades have built in lights that can be turned on and off. This theme in Marianne's work has extended into skirts that can rotate around the wearer casting shadows creating a stunning performance piece.

Emilie Faif III

Pattern by Emilie Faif

Emilie Faif II

Emilie Faif 's clothing landscapes, where images of landscapes are printed on the inside of clothing and shoes for fashion designer Isabel Marant.

Emilie Faif I

French artist Emilie Faif's portfolio has blown me away tonight. Emilie creates amazing works sculptures and installations with textiles but also does performance and video art. I adore this dress growing out of (or into) an upholstered organic environment.
It's like the dress is dreaming . . . I love it!
