Jenny Postle

Raggle taggle from top to toe, this is Jenny Postle's AW 2011 collection. It is quite tribal in its expression and its strangeness and when the outfits cover the face, quite scary too.

"I like my materials as well as my textiles to jar and sit awkwardly alongside each other, but always in an aesthetically pleasing way. A breakthrough came when I started to consider fabrics in the same way as I had yarns. Hence the patchwork idea." Jenny Postle. (thanks)

Louise Gray

Louise Gray trained in fashion at Glasgow School of Art and London's Central St Martins. These are some of the garments from her spring summer 2011 collection at this years London Fashion Week.

Raggle Taggle

With techniques from Tim's workshop in mind and the recycle project also, I have been considering rag rug techniques, and their possibilities within fashion. I have discovered that rag jackets occur quite widely in folk traditions, especially Morris dancing, the rags often having sentimental significance, being those made from the clothing of children or loved ones.

Ari Tabei

Ari Tabei has the nesting instinct bad! she makes nests, garments and bags like cocoons.
''With these materials, I package my body to disconnect myself from reality, but also to tie myself to it.'' Ari Tabei
Have a look at the link Ari Tabei uses lots of interesting techniques to construct her garments.
