Marimekko I

Marimekko is a Finnish design house famous for its bold prints and colours. This is their very 1970's style SS2013 collection. They have also teamed up with Converse to create a new range of Chuck Taylor all star baseball boots.

Phillip Lim 'Cut Up'

Phillip Lim's 'cut up' collection has probably sprung from, amongst other things, the art worlds recent obsession with paper cut work, with artists such as Rob Ryan reaching celebrity status and crossing genres of art and design.
Phillip Lim has cut up different fabrics, arranging and appliquéing them in this innovative collection.
A nod to the fragmentation of modern life, this is a collection with roots in Dadaism and techniques of collage.
Delicate stories run around the garments like fairy tales, romantic and wonderful.

MartinMartin

Androgyny again is prevalent in the SS2013 collection by Diane Moss-Martin and Eric Martin of MartinMartin who's heavily draped, folded and tailored clothes are presented as asexual, suitable for either sex.

Antoni and Alison SS2013

A warm, fun and expressive collection marks twenty five years of Antoni and Alison. With loose brush worked prints overlayed, digital prints,, 3D appliqué and laser cutting used in different combinations, these are walking pieces of art.

MASC

 MASC is a design collaborative between Duncan Shaw and Billy Yick the concept  of their brand is 'armoured elegance'  and it is characterised by original cut, folded form and sharp tailored style. Last year they were selected for the 'Bright Young Things' award 2012.

Peter Som

Now post New Year celebrations, we need colour and it is abundant in Peter Som's SS2013 collection with marigold yellow and bold rose print. (photos) 

Moschino

Italian fashion house  Moschino's metallic leather dresses and jackets pay homage to the spirit of the swinging sixties with a spring collection that has bold graphics and precision tailoring, again providing inspiration to sparkle and shine.
