Stephanie Nieuwenhuyse

Wood as fabric is an interesting concept that has been explored by Eliza Strozyk in her 'wooden carpets'. Here Stephanie Nieuwenhuyse, inspired by discarded woodchips from fellow students has created 'Biomimicry' as her MA at Kingston. "I have strived to create a luxurious sustainable garment using natures natural patterns and shapes, also known as bio-mimicking, such as reptile skins. I have created a garment with a luxurious appeal without depleting any natural resources." Stephanie Nieuwenhuyse (Thanks)
