This is 'Sweet Suspension' the graduate collection of
Samantha Clare Murray. 'Sweet Suspension' aimed to explore the potential of molding garments from liquid. Inspired by classical sculpture and gummy lollies Samantha has hand carved, vacuum formed and poured 'fibreform' to create five bright sculptural dress forms. 'Fibreform' is a mixture of merino fibres, binding agent and scent as each of the dresses is scented according to its colour. Samantha is graduating this year in MDes Fashion from
Massey University, Wellington.
