Above are some of the Chloe Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 range designed by Hannah MacGibbon who's clothes are wearable, cutting edge, sleek separates for modern women.
Gaby Aghion launched Chloe in Paris 1952 as an alternative to Haute Couture and as a result Pret-a-porter was born.
Haute Couture [French for high sewing or high dressmaking] refers to the creation of exclusive custom-fitted clothing. Haute couture is bespoke made exclusively for a specific customer, usually from very high quality fabrics with extreme attention to detail and often involving extremely skilled hand sewn detailing.
Pret-a-porter is ready to wear, off-the-peg factory made clothing, sold in a ready to wear condition and available in a variety of standard sizes.
