My last post about the stunning MA show of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp, is the collection of En-Ya Vandenhende which is full of drama and dance. En-Ya's show utilised contemporary dance to display her collection. Figures were stretched and joined by garments, lavish with expanses of fabric, creating spectacle and theatre. The garments transformed the silhouette of the wearers and the interaction between wearers as the excesses of fabric act as a tangible shadow, a flow and connection between the performers.
