Sang Hyuk Han

This selection of work by Korea's Sang Hyuk Han has many similarities to the work below by Walter Van Beirendonck with their blocks of colour inside the silhouette of the garment a great visual tool for slimming the figure. Sang Hyuk Han has also mixed the identity of the wearer with his hybrid designs.

Walter Van Beirendoncks collection 'Lust never sleeps' is a study of the masks we present. The collection caught my eye, as I liked the splashes of colour and mini me. The suit within a suit battle of identities.

Junya Watanabe

Junya Watanabe's winter 2011/12 collection has revisited classic Fair Isle and Aran jumpers and reinterpreted them into jackets. Junya has also turned back the clock on classic casual men's jackets bringing them into sharp focus with contrasting fabric and features, for example pockets and elbow pads.

A quiet revolution from one of the Comme des Garcons designers famed for his 'techno couture' and unusually structured garments.
